Middleton is a suburb of Madison, and also voted one of Money Magazine’s Best Places to Live! Middleton (the Good Neighbor City) is comprised of 8.1 square miles to the west of the capital. It is home to American Girl (a division of Mattel), Capital Brewery, the one and only National Mustard Museum, amongst many other area employers.

Downtown Middleton has a very walkable area filled with shops and restaurants, and is the perfect place for a quiet evening stroll. The neighborhoods in Middleton have great personalities, and fun developments. One of the most popular neighborhoods in Middleton, Middleton Hills, has been nationally recognized in the Parade of Homes and is based on the principles of new urbanism, inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright.
There are lots of newer developments and shopping available (like at Greenway Station), but still with the fun mix of older Victorian and bungalow style homes in the downtown area.
