Madison, Wisconsin is a beautiful city sometimes called The City of Four Lakes due to how close it is built near the lake system.
The winter temperatures can be well below freezing with a moderate to heavy snowfall while the summer temperatures average about 80 degrees.
Madison is the capital of Wisconsin and is home to the University of Wisconsin. Madison houses many different and beautiful neighborhoods.
This neighborhood consists mainly of single-family homes and is a residential neighborhood. This neighborhood is in West Madison and it has a very active neighborhood association with many volunteer opportunities. Through the neighborhood association, you can participate in the neighborhood garden club, the neighborhood watch program or get involved by becoming a member of the neighborhood association board.
Each year the neighborhood association holds annual monthly events such as an Earth Day Challenge in April, a July 4 picnic, fun run, and parade, a Halloween bonfire in October, and a neighborhood light contest in December.
They also hold a yearly garage sale and Garden Club sale. Five times yearly, the neighborhood association puts out The Stump Newsletter, which is an important communication tool.

West Madison is also home to the Vitense Golf Course and Miniature Golf. This business believes in “high quality, affordable, family golf and sports related entertainment”.
There is a double deck golf course, two 18-hole miniature golf courses, a 9-hole, par-3 golf course, as well as a climbing wall, baseball and softball-batting cages, a trampoline game called Jump Shot and a water balloon sling shot game called Water Wars. All activities are available during the day and at night during business hours.
